Nick and Alex have extensive experience in both the real estate and business brokering space. Their first joint venture was a property management company they started with $7,000 worth of capital out of a closet in Boynton Beach Florida and grew it to nearly a million dollars per year and sold it for a profit. Naturally, through the property management industry, they found themselves adjacent to quite a few Real Estate transactions given that most members of their communities had to go through an application process in order to be approved by the Association. It was then they expanded into the Real Estate Industry becoming not only Licensed Community Association Managers, but also Licensed Real Estate agents. After becoming licensed Agents, they upgraded to a Broker’s License and started their own Real Estate Brokerage alongside their Property Management Company and ran both of those entities for several years. Because of their experience in the property management space, Nick and Alex were able to distinguish themselves in the sphere of real estate. They had to navigate complicated foreclosure proceedings, learn the eviction process, understand the nature of title insurance and are able to evaluate the health and financial security of any and all community associations beyond the surface level of most agents. After 8 years in the property management business, Nick and Alex decided to sell the company they started from scratch. They learned quite a bit about the valuation of service based businesses, what attracts potential buyers, and more importantly, what may detract from them. They sold their business after only being on the open market for 2 months and used the proceeds to continue their real estate business but become equity owners in multiple other businesses in which they provide consulting services & business brokering services to their clients. It is precisely their unique experience of staring, running, investing, and selling businesses that distinguishes themselves in the business brokering business.
